St Erme Parish Council agreed to develop a Neighbourhood Plan for the area at a Parish Council Meeting held on 1st February 2016 and applied to Cornwall Council to designate the parish of St Erme as a Neighbourhood Area, in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations 2012.
The Council consulted residents and other interested stakeholders on the designation of this area between Thursday 31 March and 12 May 2016. Copies of the application, which includes a copy of the application letter with a map and a statement that explains how the Parish Council and area meet the conditions of Section 61G(2) of the Town and Country Planning Act (1990), were available to download from the Planning register (planning application PA16/00004/NDP) and hard copies were available from Trispen Post Office and Stores and Truro One Stop Shop during the consultation period.
